So Dustin and I decided that we should come up with some things to do while we were in Idaho. You know, Boise is quite the happening place. So day one of our itinerary (being Monday) included the Old Idaho Penitentiary, the Capitol, the Basque street, and the Egyptian theatre. The theatre was closed, and by the time we finished with the penitentiary, we were starving, so we barely looked at the Basque street and didn't even make it to the Capitol. We decided we would try to do those another day. So the prison was actually pretty cool. When you first get in there, they had a place to take pictures and read facts about the history of the prison. So here are some of our pictures.

Somehow, the baby strapped to me seems to detract from my fierceness

Yeah, mean looking right...you go Battle Ax

Chlo - ia
(If you know how to pronounce that correctly, then you know the right people) |

There actually was a lady that was arrested with her baby, but since there wasn't enough room in the prison for the baby, the baby was never admitted.

I think she really enjoyed being that high up
So after all of that (and after briefly walking around the Basque street and finding a fun little downtown sprinkler park), we decided to go to Cafe Rio. It was SO good. We couldn't go out west without making a stop there. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures. Lastly, we swung by Cabelas for the fun of it. Needless to say, Emma was pretty pooped after all of that.
My husband Mike and I live in Pocatello and our families are both from Burley. Anytime you're close let me know! Love ya Sista! 208-670-1895
