Take me out to the Ball Game
So, Dustin calls me up one random afternoon from his externship, and he tells me, "Hey, so we can get a bunch of free tickets to the baseball game tonight. Want to go?" Lets be honest, any free fun is the best kind of fun, so we decided to snatch a couple (and a couple extra). This was actually the same day as the zoo, so Emma had a pretty wild fun day. We weren't sure how well she would do being up so late for a game, especially after spending a good chunk of the day at the zoo, so we planned on leaving early if we needed to. She did great though. We ended up making it to the 6th inning, and it was a fun game up to that point. We invited a couple of our friends from Southaven, MS to come and join us. We were excited that the Pauls could come. They are a super fun couple that always have exciting adventures up their sleeves, in fact at this game, they are expecting twins!
Emma had more fun with the people around us more than anything else. They were just going crazy over her, and she was definitely making her presence known. She is such a social little girl. Every time we go somewhere, she picks her target and smiles them up. She'll bat her eyes and wave and act shy and make them fall in love with her. It's pretty unreal and super funny. So, overall, I think everyone had fun. We even got food stand junk food (since the tickets were free, we figured why not!). Good times and good memories.
