How old are you Emma? I'm 3!!!

Emma at the age of three. There is so much to say about her. So many things are the same as a year ago, and in so many ways she is so different.

-Sings the ABCs and can almost count to 20. She gets mixed up with 11-14.
-She loves to bake. If she sees me pull out measuring cups or spoons, she is dragging a chair to the counter and saying over and over again, "Mommy, I want to help you. Mommy, I want to help."
-Every morning she wakes up and immediately wants her cereal and milk. Just like her Daddy, she has to have breakfast before anything else.
-She still loves her Ducky. She will have times when she is excited about some other toy, and she will tell me she doesn't need her Ducky to go to sleep. But a few minutes later, she is always calling for me and begging me to bring her Ducky after all.
-She loves the Disney princesses, and she especially loves Frozen and Sleeping Beauty.
-She loves to dress up. She loves trying on outfit after outfit. It drives me crazy.
-She is very timid. She hesitates to try anything too daring without Mommy or Daddy there to protect her.
-She has started being ok with swimming. It takes her a good amount of time to warm up to it, but once she is, she has a lot of fun.
-She has started trying all kinds of new foods, and she really likes seafood. She will eat broccoli when we pretend to be dinosaurs, green beans when we pretend to be birds eating worms, and she won't go anywhere near mashed potatoes still. She will only eat french fries and occasionally a bite of baked potato.
-She loves Daniel Tiger still
-Her favorite books are "I Want My Mommy," "Goldilocks and the Three Bears," "The Ugly Duckling," Clifford books, and "Cat in the Hat." Her list of favorites changes all the time, but those are the regulars we have been seeing lately. The first three are ones she got for Christmas, so I think the newness factor plays a big role.
-She loves the songs "Shake it off" and "All about the Bass" thanks to her Aunt Chloee. :)
-Her favorite toys are usually house related. She loves baby dolls, her play kitchen, her toy stroller (and now she has a new high chair, swing, and carrier from Nana that she is loving). She also loves trains, doctor toys (she got scrubs and an otoscope from Grammy and Grandpa and an eye doctor kit from us for her birthday, but she has been using whatever she could find to give us check ups and shots and eye exams for months now), and she loves her stuffed animals.
-When anything goes missing, I am almost guaranteed to find it hidden in Emma's play kitchen.
-She loves her friends.
-She figured out birthdays when we celebrated Dustin's in September, and she has been anxiously asking about hers since then. She picked her own theme of camping.
-She loves to take pictures. She has a fake camera, and I let her practice with one of my old cameras too.
-She hates transition times (wake up, nap, bed time, dinner time). She has to transition slowly, and heaven forbid she should be woken up from her nap early. Yikes! She is grouchy the rest of the day...unless you snuggle with her for five to ten minutes as she wakes up. :)
-She is still stubborn, and she will let you know when she doesn't agree with what is going on.
-She loves Coltrin. She loves to make him laugh. She loves to help him walk. She loves to hold him. She loves to play with him. They have so much fun together.
-She HATES getting dirty. If ANYTHING gets on her hands she freaks out until they are cleaned. If anything (even water) get on her clothes, she wants to change.
-She always has to have a fork when eating. No matter what we are serving, she will always ask for a fork.
-She picks up on everything. We have to be so careful about what we say now.
-She can climb up on our bed on her own. That is saying something since our bed in like 3 or 4 tall.
-She always prays that everyone feel better. "Please bless, um, feel better."
-She asks to go see the temple all the time
